Join the Aylesford ‘Constantia Fresh’ Sauvignon Blanc Festival’s first celebration

Buitenverwachting hosts the International Sauvignon Blanc Tasting in their Old Cellar.
Guests will taste wines of differing vintages from the best producers of the Loire, alongside New Zealand and the Constantia region.

Constantia Uitsig’s Award-winning La Colombe Restaurant is the setting for the Fine-Dining Event where the compatibility of Sauvignon Blanc and food will be highlighted.
Guests will sit down to a five-course degustation menu paired with the 14 different red and white wines from the Loire and Constantia.

Groot Constantia is the host to the festival’s red wine component of this two day festival.
The line up of wines will feature different vintages of Bordeaux, high-end Australian Shiraz, wines of the northern Rhône Valley, South African Bordeaux blends and Shiraz of Constantia and other regions.

Set on the beautiful lawns of the Buitenverwachting Estate, the Sauvignon Blanc and Food Pairing Exhibition will take the form of food and wine pairing walk around tasting.
More than a thirty local, regional and international Sauvignon Blanc producers have been invited to attend this event where they will exhibit their wines alongside the top chefs of the Cape.

Following the exhibition guests will be invited to a picnic to sit on the lawns and enjoy live entertainment in the form of Adamu whilst enjoying the red wines of the Constantia Valley.
