The AgriWorks Farmers Expo offer an interesting programme for all visitors, from farmers and farm workers to wine and gardening enthusiasts. The farm workers programmes, presented on Thursday and Friday mornings will include workshops on personal finance, life skills, anger management and basic first aid. The programme ends off with an informative and entertaining reptile show that will help workers to identify the dangers in the orchard, vineyard and field. For the farmer there are topical discussions about the economical prospects and forecasts, weather patterns, land reform issues and rural safety. The Cape Wine Academy will offer four themed and technical wine tastings which give you the opportunity to taste top local and international wines. These tastings include a Chile to Chablis tasting, a Tri-Nations tasting, a Hess Family Terroir tasting and a French champagne tasting. | |
