Cape Town Hotels City Bowl

Cape Town Hotels City Bowl
The City Bowl area refers to the area between Table Mountain and Cape Town Harbour and includes the following suburbs:
Bo Kaap - City Central - De Waterkant - Gardens - Oranjezicht - Tamboerskloof - Vredehoek

Tourist attractions in this area include the Castle of Good Hope, City Hall, the Company Garden, the Parliament, many museums and the V&A Waterfront. Many of these attractions can be reached on foot.

The mountain west of Table Mountain is called "Lion's Head" because it looks like a lion when viewed from afar.
The pass between the two mountains is "Kloof Nek".

A road leads through Tamboerskloof up to Kloof Nek, where it goes left to the Cableway Station and straight down to Camps Bay from where you can continue along the coast to Hout Bay, or you can return to Cape Town via Fresnaye, Bantry Bay and Clifton. This is probably the area with the most expensive property in Cape Town.

Fortunately you do not need to own property to visit the secluded beaches.
